- **Event Description**: Come join us this Saturday as we reach the end of Oda Haugerud’s acclaimed exhibition Guinness World Records Audio Guide to Her, and mark the official two-year anniversary of skēnē with our annual celebration of Saturnalia!

What we can look forward to:

For the conclusion of Oda Haugerud’s exhibition, Henning Lundkvist will make an eagerly anticipated return to skēnē. This time reading from his book NCC (2024). Henning Lundkvist is a writer, librarian, and occasional artist living in Copenhagen. He has written numerous texts in relation to works and shows by other artists, exhibits every once in a while, gives readings and performances more regularly, and sometimes publishes books and other debris.

We also have the great honor of screening two works by Cate Giordano, who is a visual artist and performer based in New York City. This is made possible by PARTICIPANT INC ( https://participantinc.org/ ), to whom we are very grateful!

Hunter Dodge escapes his unhappy relationship with Joy by retreating to the forest and building himself a wife out of scrap wood. In his constructed paradise, Hunter is content with his silent, self-made partner, Susannah. However, Joy finds him and drags him kicking and screaming back into reality. Hunter in the Woods was the first film featuring Julianna Schley, who has acted in most of Giordano’s projects.

Trapped in the belly of a Trojan Lion, Jonah and Dot are falling out of love. Jonah, a writer, fights to remain true to his artistic vision, despite mounting pressure from Dot to earn money. Dot runs off with a shape-shifting insurance salesman named Hugh, played by seven actors, leaving Jonah to incubate inside his creation. Jonah and Dot are both played by Giordano.
